Here is my sister Brittany’s DIY Victoria Secret Flip Flops. Five dollar flip flops from Oldnavy with some cute fabric and you have affordable, and cute shoes!

I’ll have to post it on my tumbler but basically you cut off the thong part on the shoe. (Old Navy flip flops work) Then cut fabric long enough to go over the arch of your foot (leave a little extra to knot on the bottom, you can always trim), and then thread through the two holes on the bottom of the shoe, Tie a knot to keep the fabric from coming up on the sides, underneath the sole. Next for the thong part of the shoe measure fabric long enough to tie behind your ankle, or sew the back pieces together. To attach the thong part to the sole, take a little bit of fabric and cross it over the front part of the thong fabric and then shove the little bit of fabric through the front hole and knot the bottom of it! I will take more pictures. We are working on perfecting the process.

(Width of the fabric about five inches, and the “little bit” of fabric about 1 inch.)

You could also wrap them around your ankle! The possibilites are unlimited!

My DIY bow bandeau top. I think it turned out pretty good! So cute for summer time! Brittany my sister sewed the whole thing, quick and easy!

Cheetah Print

Cheetah print is one thing my mom and I always shared a love for. She had cardigans, shoes, belts, jewelry, dresses, and much more in the cheetah print! I feel like Cheetah print is classy, but fierce. It is a must have for any wardrobe and spices up any outfit! This ribbon is in honor of my wonderful mother who passed away from breast cancer last August 2011. The ribbon represents her courage and strength, the cheetah print represents her feisty personality, and the pearl pin symbolizes how classy and beautiful she was! Every time I see cheetah print it’s a sweet reminder of the powerful impact my mother had on my life.
